I think this is really sickening to my bowels, by the fact that microsoft wants to buy yahoo. I am really against this idea and it does not stand upto Yahoo's mission statement of "to connect people to their passions, their communities and the world's knowledge" One reason yahoo has turned out to be a great site is the way it has tailored its service to the common man, and its continued pursuit of excellence. Microsoft has turned all its services into money sucking schemes, that there is virtualy nothing for free to the common man. That is one reason they don't have e.g. good chatrooms like yahoo's, e-mail and knews. If you are reading this and you love yahoo, please lets protest this idea of microsoft buying or continuing to associate with yahoo in any capacity whatsoever! This monster should not be let to acquire Yahoo. Pass this to everyone please!

I do not believe that protests, however massive they may be, would change anything in regard to this matter. I share your opinion about Microsoft, but I suspect that if Billyboy offers Yahoo enough money, the owners will accept sooner or later...
Reply:There's nothing wrong with microsoft, or yahoo they both have lots of problems, just like everyother company does Yahoo also has money sucking schemes as you say yahoo charges for a lot of things. also if microsoft names the right price i bet yahoo would sell money talks, anybody will sell anything if they get the price they want
