sir, i have received a communication from dr.Abdullahim Omar,Lotto coordinator,The Yahoo.com staff, email reference:from uk agent 4lotto 007@yahoo.co.uk dated 6th sept 2007(5.28 am BST) that i have won a large cash amount,100000 pounds sterling, in a worldwide random selection of yahoo users. they have stated that the amount has been deposited in their bank, Abbey bank plc etc and have sent me a facsmile of the certificate of deposit issued by the bank. and they have asked me to contact the bank to determine process of withdrawal of the amount to myself.
my question is: is this an entirely yahoo .com company sponsored event and is yahoo responsible for the lottery payments. or is this a lottery system operated by a non yahoo outside agency. that is the so called uk agent4 lotto 007@yahoo.co.uk . is dr.abdullahim omar a staffmember of yahoo.com company.
i wish to pursue this claim for the lottery amount only if it is a scheme sponsored directly under yahoo.com .please reply urgen
