I reactivated the Yahoo Mail a while ago to test something, But I no longer plan to use the mail, I been told that if you don't log onto Yahoo Mail for 3 months, It deactivates. But I would like to know if logging onto Yahoo Messenger or into the Yahoo Groups would make it not to deactivate after the 3 months? I don't plan on using the mail, But still access my Yahoo ID for my other things like my Yahoo Messenger or the Groups and everything else from Yahoo.com
Will Yahoo Mail be deactivated if you just log into your Yahoo Groups or Yahoo Messenger only?

Reply:The way I understand it, and this has happened to me, an account is deactivated in you do not sign in for a period of either 60 or 90 days. By signing into your Y! Groups account you will keep the account active, since you are signing-in to the account. I guess using Messenger will work, too, since it accesses the user database.
Reply:Those will still work even if your yahoo mail is deactivated.
Reply:3 months it is deactivated and have to sign up again if u use messenger than it is active.
