Anyone else ever fought the law, and won?

Yahoo Answers grievances do actually work?
Yes, I did, but I had to hand write them a letter. Somehow, I couldn't do it by e-mail. But that was OK because I got the same letter as you and was reinstated. I think it is too easy to report someone just because they disagree with you. I have only reported someone who used really really bad language. Sometimes, now I'm afraid to give my opinion, especially in the political category. It's so easy to offend someone. Everyone is so politically correct now a days, it's sick. Glad you came back.
Reply:yes i had my account removed and then got the same message. some one asked how long before the baby next door will be old enough to talk. i need to stop rapping her before she is old enough to talk and tell on me. i said i cant wait til judgment day comes and he gets what coming to him. he reported my answer and they suspended my account. i ask for y/a to take a look at the question and my answer. thats when i got the same message as you did.
Reply:Wonders never cease, glad ya were able to get your appeal overturned.
Reply:No, if you mean literally (as in real fist fight). But, yes if you are asking about having a violation overturned. I have won several cases but the best one was fighting for a friend who was driving my Mercedes and we got pulled for speeding. It was a diesel and the patrolman also pulled a BMW behind us but we got ticketed and I was furious. We were the last case of the day and my friend was too shy to speak up for herslef and had agreed to pay a lessor fine and less points.

I explained to the judge the actual circumstances, asked him if I could see the ticket the person driving the BMW got. But, the policeman refused and I knew the girl in the BMW was not given a ticket and she was the one speeding. Then I ended up in a heated argument with the patrol man (in front of the judge) and the others observing in court room. After a very heated discussed with Patrolman who did not tell the truth, I then asked the judge if I could speak on my friends behalf and the judge allowed it. My friend had already paid her reduced fine and accepted 2 less points .The patrolman kept arguing while I was talking to the judge and I asked him to be quite that it was my turn and the patrolman and I got into a heated arguement. However, after I told the truth to the Judge, he then overturned his original decision. So we got our money back her driving record straight and the ticket was recended by the judge. The patrolman was so angry that he wanted to fight me.

.

That was just one issue. I have all but hit them because I knew they were trying to take advantage of me but, I did not want to go to jail. I have had a few verbal rounds with Judges, and Lawyers and won.

I fought my own divorce in court and won. I am not an attorney but think I have a little more common sense than some!. And congratulations for winning your appeal. ..lol
