NO NO NO!!! I thought these were at first, but then I noticed there were so many of them (Yahoo/MSN/Microsoft/Adobe/ xanga, etc). They are not true, they are scams and e-viruses, so don't click on any links. Definitely do NOT give them any personal information about yourself. You can jus tgoogle it or go to snopes.com to see for yourself. Sorry you thought it might be true- would have been too good to be true! So don't worry just delete and block them. Good luck!

Reply:I have also received such a letter stating that I have won one hundred Great Britain Pounds.


First thing `incorporation' is the word attached to companies registered in USA and there would be no suffix like incoperation. This is totally fraud. While AOL (America On LIne) and Microsoft are based in USA they would not select winners from their head offices in USA but not from a branch in UK.


I got the mail from one person registered with yahoo in Hangkong. (hk) and he advised me to contact courier in UK.


when I tried to know the courier charges the mailers demon stated it could not deliver it because there was no with the registered on said email address.

Basically, any time you get an e-mail about winning a lottery you don't even remember entering, it's a scam.
