This is a SCAM. Check out the below link for confirmation of various scams, including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them.

http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/lo...

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

Reply:Scam mail, they want u to respond to ask you for just a little matter of their administration charge, then once you sent that u will get the winnings. If you pay the adminstration charge you will never hear from them again. I live in London, I have never seen any Yahoo offices in Shaftesbury Avenue, its all theatres down there no offices. Bin it in your junk/spam

Reply:Yet another scam!

If Yahoo ran such a prize draw there would be adverts for it all over their pages.

Let's look at the evidence:

The verification officer has a Hotmail e-mail address - very unlikely.

The phone number given is a UK mibile phone number. If it was genuine there would be a landline number.

They will be asking for your bank details to transfer the money to you. Very suspicious.

There are lots of grammatical errors in the text - this was not written by a native English speaker.(Eg "among the Millions that subscribe at YAHOO!")

Bin it, forget it.
Reply:so if its from yahoo why are they using a hotmail address.........................think about it
